Robert R. Mead
A published Internet film writer/reviewer
with an eye on the future of
modern cinema.
About Robert Mead
Born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, Robert Mead has always had a keen interest in the technology behind movie-making, action movies, horror movies and 3-D technology.

He attended Yorktown Heights Tech School in New York where he learned all about video-making and how to write for media.

After spending a lot of his working life as a proofreader at a leading publisher, Robert decided to delve into the heady world of self-employment as a full-time internet writer in 2004.

As his portfolio began to expand to include many clients such as AVRevolution.com, HomeEntertainment.com, BestCovery.com and the myriad websites attached to SoundStage Network, Robert knew that his writing talent was based on his vast knowledge of home entertainment components and the entertainment industry as a whole.

Writing on a weekly basis for BestCovery.com, Robert became an "home electronic expert" and has written many "Best of" lists regarding a vast spectrum of home audio-video components.

Robert began his entry into the world of film criticism by writing film reviews for the horror-related website KillerReviews.com. These films were reviewed by Robert while he watched them in theaters and in his media screening room as well. They include "The International", "Children of Men" and "The Punisher." Direct links to these specific reviews can be found on the Links page on this website.

Robert now lives in Las Vegas where he attends a lot of movie premieres at the Palms Casino where such films as "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two" in 3D had their
premiere in 2011. He also attends the yearly Consumer Electronics Show on an annual basis.

This process gives Robert an edge over other Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray reviewers as Robert demos the latest ground-breaking high-definition 3D TV units and projectors before anyone else.

He also brings this vast knowledge of the latest in 3D film-making techniques with him when reviewing the latest movies created in 3D, along with 5k films and the new filming techniques this format uses.
